It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Allan (Al) Zaleski at Grace Hospital on March 23, 2026.
Al was a dear husband to his wife of 60 years, Maureen; father to Terri (Winnipeg), Jennifer and son-in-law Ryan (Calgary); brother to Dean (Winnipeg). He also leaves behind his precious dogs, Oomy and Annie. Al was predeceased by his parents, Alexander and Alice Zaleski. We are deeply saddened for all his family and friends who were blessed to have known him.
Al took great pride in his job at the City of Winnipeg Waste and Waterworks, where he worked for 60 years.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Breezy Bend Golf Club (7620 Roblin Blvd.) on April 10, 2026 between 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in his name to the Winnipeg Humane Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

Maureen & Family I am so sorry to hear about Al's passing. I will forever remember him as such a kind hearted and happy fellow who cherished his family greatly and loved his job, His smile and sense of humour were contagious, and I will always have very fond memories of my time working with him at the Waterworks lab. .
